5 New Fiesta Ideas

Are you ready to party?

Don't you hate the feeling of being stuck and not knowing what your kid's next party should look like? We certainly do!

That's why we took some time to gather 5 new party ideas for your little ones on their next birthday or event. But don't get me wrong. You can also use these ideas for your own adult fiesta with your friends. ;)

1) Bubbles

This idea is fun because it does not take a whole lot of money to go out to your nearest 99 Cent store and buy a whole lot of bubbles for your guests. Also, you can buy bubble wrap while you're there or head to your nearest Craft store to pick up a roll.

You can use the bubble wrap to decorate your tables or even cut some into interesting shapes and hand them out to the kids. Just be sure that you're not creating a choke hazard if there are kids who do not yet know how to handle bubble wrap.

2) Pirate/Treasure Hunt

You can take this idea many ways. You can either ask the kids to dress up in costumes or the party theme can be like a treasure hunt style. If you do choose the dress up theme then make sure you let the parents know a good 2 weeks ahead of time in case some have to buy them.

If you decide to do the treasure hunt theme then you can bury a plastic egg or something of the sort in your back yard for kids to find. Or you can simply hide something cool like money in a plastic egg and place it somewhere around the house.

3) Artist

This one might be a little messy so be prepared for some further clean up. Essentially, you either buy some aprons or ask the parents to bring in old shirts so that kids can spend the day painting or drawing!

The painting route would require a bigger purchase and more mess. But it would definitely be more memorable! At the end of the day you could even give out a prize to the kid who's painting gets voted as the best.

4) Glow In The Dark

This idea just might be our favorite! You can replace your light bulbs with Black Light ones to get things started. Then, just be sure to buy some glow sticks and use a whole lot of white decorations for the scene to come alive.

One thing to remember though is that you'll be partying in the dark. So, depending on the people coming over, there may be some that aren't comfortable with it. However, you can designate a room or a few hours to the 'Glow In The Dark' theme.

5) Bugs

Last but not least, the bug/insect party theme. You can take this idea in many different directions but we are going to focus on one. We're thinking that your baking and food are all themed around bugs. For example, if you're going the healthy route you can serve sushi rolls that look like caterpillars.

You can also ask the girls and boys to dress up in their favorite bug/insect costume. Then again, you can have face painting or stickers that kids can put on to stay with the theme. And even before the kids get there, your party invitations can be shaped like lady bugs and opened up with their wings going to the side.

Either way, I hope you enjoyed these 5 new party ideas for your next event! Have fun, stay cool, and enjoy your family!
